What it is

Attribution-based control is OpenMined’s proposed architecture for keeping data under the control of the party that contributes it while still allowing AI systems to benefit from that data at query time. It presents an alternative to scrape-first training: more like a permissioned data economy and less like a one-time transfer into a model.
